Control: Incels

I, Dalton Lewis, am not an incel. Incels refers to people — usually but not always men — who want to have sex but can’t find a partner over a long period of time. They generally hate themselves and exhibit racist and sexist behavior. They often display hatred and fear towards themselves and others.

These behaviors mean that people feel fucking pissed. They want to hurt themselves and others. You notice the Joker movie? People felt something when they watched that. People feel something about real works of literature. People feel when someone doesn’t get laid more than when pretty people have sex and exchange wacky jokes and stupid misunderstandings.

I wrote a draft of a novel about this — about unhappy men who hate themselves and others because they cannot correctly communicate with women. They can’t figure out how to be a part of women’s lives. This is a serious problem for society.

I want to know why people don’t admit that life is not automatically configured for things to go right. Things go wrong — in almost everyone’s life something goes wrong and doesn’t get fixed. There isn’t someone out there destined for someone, and if there is, they don’t get together in the end. There’s no magical, perfect job and career for you to find — life only makes sense if you make it, as the comic book character says.

I know the feelings: the helplessness, the stupid rage, the angry passion, the feeling that no one cares. I resent pretty, skinny people for their happiness and self-esteem.

I have those moments. I have to tell myself not to resent people who sell thousands of copies of their novels. I need to understand that some people succeed and most of us dont. I cant hate or fear the rich and beautiful.

I sit around, at the gaming store, reading a pulp sci fi novel and waiting for lunch. Other people hsve handlers and managers and i dont even have someone to play 40k with today. But hey. Im healthy and have a home and a chance to read, write, and play games all day long.

Thanks, and take care, friends.
